TOPSHOP To Auction Off Met Gala Gowns for Charity

TOPSHOP has announced the auction of its couture gowns made for the 2014 Met Gala, with the proceeds going to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

The five custom gowns were constructed in TOPSHOP’s London atelier and worn by -Kendall Jenner, Toni Garrn, Jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman and Zoe Kravitz.

Inspired by the theme of this year’s MET Gala, the work of British Couturier Charles James, each dress was painstakingly sewn by hand.

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is a powerful force that unites the fashion world in the fight against breast cancer. Since it launched in the UK in 1996 it has raised over £13.5 million for breast cancer research. TOPSHOP has been a key partner of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer since 2007.

The auction will go live at eBay on November 27th and run for 10 days. www.ebay.com
