TOPSHOP and TOPMAN take Manhattan in a big way by announcing the opening of a new 40,000 sq. foot flagship store on Fifth Avenue, which will be the second largest flagship store in the world, slated for a fall 2014 opening.  The iconic UK flagship, on the corner of Oxford and Regent Street in the heart of London’s West End stands at 90,000 square foot.

The new Manhattan store will be located in the prime retail district of Fifth Avenue, on the corner of 49th Street, and is adjacent to Rockefeller Center in an historical building built by Henry Goelet in 1931.

The new flagship location will house full collections for each brand as well as collaborations, exclusives lines, trend-led mainlines and personal shopping services.

In addition TOPSHOP and TOPMAN will also expand further within the USA market with four additional locations openings across the country – TOPSHOP and TOPMAN joint stores in Fashion Valley San Diego (17,500 sq. foot), and a stand-alone TOPSHOP in Springfield Town Center Washington (5,000 sq. foot) in the Fall of 2014 and TOPSHOP and TOPMAN joint stores in Galleria Mall Houston (16,500 sq. foot) and Lennox Square Mall Atlanta (15,500 sq. foot) slated for Spring 2015.

TOPSHOP has become a major British style authority and one of fashion’s biggest success stories, with 499 stores worldwide, including 164 within international territories while TOPMAN is quickly becoming a leading presence in menswear retail with 250 stores in the UK and a further 154 locations internationally across 31 countries. www.us.topshop.com www.us.topman.com
