Founded by Rob Magness, former menswear design director at Ralph Lauren, after he begun to notice the parallel between American designed and American produced clothing depreciate.

The concept behind Grown & Sewn was to create a brand that was rooted in American history and culture that supported fair wages, produced goods without damaging the atmosphere and which built relationships with US manufacturers that allowed products to be created and closely monitored from start to finish.

The brand started with KAX: a khaki denim hybrid that blends the perfect khaki with the fit and attitude of the perfect denim jean.

“It feels great to lay down a new foundation with an American standard in my own backyard,” says Magness. We are a small team of people passionate about creating product of quality, integrity and authenticity.
