Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills has launched a program to celebrate British design in partnership with the GREAT Britain campaign. The week-long event which starts on October 31, will feature a series of designer appearances and trunk shows with some of the most exciting brands to emerge from London Fashion Week.
“We have seen special talent emerge from Britain over the years, and continue to see brands that we believe are the next important voices in fashion and retail,” said Joe Boitano, Saks Fifth Avenue’s Group Senior Vice President. “We’re pleased to have partnered with the GREAT campaign on this exciting program and look forward to a long standing partnership.
“So many of the styles and brands that have conquered the world came out of the UK and made their mark in LA,” said British Consul General Chris O’Connor. “Now we’re showcasing the next generation of iconic British designers whose work will shine on the red carpet and continue to define Britain’s leading role in dressing the world.”
The GREAT Britain campaign is the British Government’s most ambitious international marketing campaign ever. The GREAT campaign invites the world to take a fresh look at everything Britain has to offer that make it a GREAT place to visit, study, work, invest and do business. The campaign is built around key pillars of British excellence: Creativity, Entrepreneurship, Fashion, Knowledge, Music, Sport, and Shopping.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my
own weblog and was curious what all is required to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?

Hi there and thanks for reading my blog. Wow yes a loaded question. I’m not very web savvy myself and I was lucky that when I started my blog I was dating someone who was who helped me w/ the design of my blog and guided me through all the tough spots. If you have the budget I suggest hiring someone who can get you setup here on WordPress w/ the blog template that works for you. My coast have been minimal but it is a lot of time and dedication required almost on a daily basis. I’ve learned to be patient w/ myself which wasn’t easy for me and learn along the way.
