This past week I had the pleasure of producing and collaborating with my dear friend Kevan Hall again, to present his Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I’ve worked with Kevan since 2005 on his runway show productions but non have been as special or as intimate as this. Staged in his Los Angeles atelier and presented by The AGTA, The American Gem Trade Association, Kevan asked and answered his own question, “What Ever Happened To Pretty?” presenting a collection that was filled with feminine silhouettes and brightly colored hues. Kevan and I were thrilled to work with Gregory Arlt on behalf of MAC Cosmetics and Kim Kimble for Kimble Beauty. The evening was a chic affair with a guest list that included celebrities Virginia Madsen, Teri Hatcher, Christian Serratos, Mayim Bialik, Amandla Stenberg, Alfre Woodard, Estelle, as well as fashion press, fashion stylists and Kevan Hall clients.
As the show began, guests saw the models saunter and playfully flirt through the room to live music provided by The String Tones Quartet.
A very special thank you to the event team: Lauren Stillman, LSPR, Hillary Gadsby, A Gadsby Affair and Onelia Estudillo, Conspiracy LA.
