CHILDREN’S INSTITUTE, INC.:  Children’s Institute, Inc. is nationally recognized for its work with children who have been traumatized by violence in their homes or communities.  Since 1906, CII has served at-risk children and families in some of Los Angeles’ most devastated neighborhoods.  We provide healing and support through treatment, early childhood, family support, and child and youth enrichment services.  In addition, the agency improves practice in the larger child welfare field through the research, training and policy efforts of the CII Leadership Center. We currently serve approximately 17,000 children and families, and train more than 9,000 professionals in the field annually.

THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF GREATER LOS ANGELES:  Based on Jewish values, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles convenes and leads the community and leverages its resources to assure the continuity of the Jewish people, support a secure State of Israel, care for Jews in need here and abroad, and mobilize on issues of concern to the local community, all with our local, national, and international partners.

THE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, LOS ANGELES (MOCA:  Founded in 1979, MOCA’s mission is to be the defining museum of contemporary art. The institution has achieved astonishing growth in its brief history—with three Los Angeles locations of architectural renown; more than 13,500 members; a world-class permanent collection of nearly 6,000 works international in scope and among the finest in the nation; hallmark education programs that are widely emulated; award-winning publications that present original scholarship; and groundbreaking monographic, touring, and thematic exhibitions of international repute that survey the art of our time.

P.S. ARTS:  P.S. ARTS’ mission is to improve the lives of children by bringing arts education to underserved public schools and their communities. P.S. ARTS recruits, hires, underwrites and trains professional artists to develop curriculum and teach classes in Title I schools during the regular school day.  The organization also works to educate and empower classroom teachers through arts-related workshops that demonstrate how to integrate creative expression and the arts into core academic subjects.
