Founded by industrial designer Spencer Nikosey in 2008, as a personal project to locally craft the perfect sustainable and waterproof backpack, KILLSPENCER quickly evolved into a full-time accessories brand.
Designed and developed in his Los Angeles Downtown Arts District space each KILLSPENCER product is produced and manufactured in house.
Spencer personally gave me a tour of his loft space that is modestly staffed by a brilliant team of craftsmen and artisans skillfully schooled in custom construction.
Each KILLSPENCER product is designed, constructed and tested by Spencer and his team to ensure each piece will last the test of time.
When I asked Spencer about mass production, which is typically done overseas, he confidently informed me that it wasn’t for him. He likes the fact that each bag is skillfully crafted in house and made in the USA and personally stands behind each product 100%.
I must say I was blown away not only by the designs, but also by the attention to detail down to the personalize card included in each KILLSPENCER product signed by each individual that works on them.
