
One of the most anticipated brand partnerships this season can be found at Target as the retailer follows its successful collaborations with fashion houses Rodarte, Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, Jean Paul Gaultier and McQ Alexander McQueen, embarking on its biggest designer partnership to date with Italian luxury brand Missoni, presenting an affordable limited-edition collection for fall.
The over 400 piece Missoni for Target collection will feature apparel and accessories for women, men, girls and baby, as well as home décor.
“Our collection for Target embodies Missoni’s values of family, color and quality,” said creative director Angela Missoni. “It has been a fantastic experience translating our aesthetic into an affordable line, one we are eager to share with families across the United States.”
“The Missoni family has established one of the world’s most creative brands, and together we’ve created a collection that will have guest lining up outside their local Target in anticipation,” said Kathee Tesija, executive vice president of merchandising at Target.
The limited-edition collection priced between $2.99 to $599.99, with most items less than $40.00 will be available in store and online starting September 13 through October 22, 2011.

Pending availability, select pieces from the collection, including a variety of online-only items, will be available for an extended run through early December at Target.com.
